Alternate Character Interpretation: Happens very often to many characters and factions given the Grey and Grey Morality setting of the mod. In fact, the player has the ability to ecounter these interpretations and validate them or not via event or focus tree. Describe the change you would like:
The focus Empower the Army change to a 2% buff to Recruitable Population or give a bonus to both division recovery and division reinforcement rate, 10% and 5% would be fine here respectively.
The focus American Stratocracy should have some goal on completion besides removing the last step of the ACW debuff. Your counterpart path has significantly more PP generation and gain from both foci and national than you. Perhaps giving a PP gain buff percent or flat would be fine here or a large boost 30-40% party popularity gain would be suitable.

On a related note if a bonus is given to American Stratocracy a bonus should also be given to A More Perfect Union in the form of just 10% stability or perhaps an industrial buff such as production retention and or production growth. I would not give a bonus to Production Cap, Factory Output, or Consumer Goods reduction as the democratic tree already grants those bonuses which are quite good.

Explain the reasoning behind this change:
The Democratic path is objectively better than the Stratocracy path in the granting of CG reduction and the massive amounts of stability, party popularity, and PP that are gained from it. The US Douglas MacArthur path of the political focus tree is quite poor. It grants no significant bonuses in comparison to the democratic path and comes with quite a few drawbacks. I find you only take this patch for the difficulty it puts on a player or if you are going for a meme run. At the end of the tree there is no bonus to justify what you had to give up and this will change that allowing for a more military centric bonus or an more industrial bonus

Additional context or comments:
I would not nerf the democratic path as the bonuses are fine as no military ones are granted nor are they as insane as the other ACW industrial buffs such as CSA Industrial Juggernaught and the AUS Military Industrial Complex.
