Devi 2 Full Movie Story

Devi Suspects Krishna

The movie begins with Krishna (Prabhu Deva) and his wife Devi ( Tamannah) both arrive in Mauritius as Krishna has some official work there. They have a small daughter and they left her with Devi’s parents back in India. As the story progresses Devi meets an advocate Lalitha ( Kovai Sarala) and soon they became very good friends. One night Krishna wakes up from his sleep and close the window which was open but after some time suddenly the window gets open. On the very next day, Devi suspects Krishna as she saw his colleague hugged him. And she made this a big issue and tells Krishna to swear on their daughter’s photo and he assures her that hug was very casual. That night again Krishna wakes up in the middle of the night and close the window and the window gets open again but he remains it open and left from there.

Krishna Gets Warning

On the very next day Devi again suspect Krishna as she saw him with Sarah (Nandita Swetha) then she asks him about it but he said that it was not he, it’s someone else. Moreover, he tells her that she can visit his office and check if she has any doubts. a few days later Krishna forgets their wedding anniversary and Devi gets angry on this. Meanwhile, Krishna gets warning from a gang to keep away from Sarah. Lalitha tells Devi that she is not taking care of her after their daughter’s birth and advises her to lure Krishna by her beauty so she wears a modern western dress to impress Krishna but Krishna tells her that she likes and loves her as she is and he assures that he only loves her and takes promise on their daughter’s photo even.

An Outing

Next day Krishna and Devi go out and Krishna go to buy ice cream but Devi suddenly sees him with Sarah. The gang then beta sup Krishna and while he is running behind the gang Devi sees Krishna behind her with the ice cream. The confused Devi now decides to find out the matter. Devi followed Sarah and comes to know that Alex Britto ( Prabhu Deva) who loves Sarah but he died. In the next scene, Devi is talking to Isha’s father and learn about Rangga Reddy (Prabhu Deva) who wanted to marry Isha but died in a car accident. Again in the night, the door opened Krishna close it but Devi followed him and calls Rangga and Alex saying that he came. Devi becomes terrified after that.

The Contract

Next day Devi insists Krishna leave Mauritius and go back to him but they are stopped by the two ghosts and she learns that they have made an agreement with Ruby ( character of the first movie) they have possessed Krishna’s body. Devi made a new contract which says that from morning 9 to afternoon 3 Alex can use Krishna’s body and from afternoon 3 to 9 at night Rangga can use his body and they can woo their girls and when their girls say I Love You to them they will leave Krishna alone.

The Ghost

Lalitha and Devi help the ghosts to woo their girls by cooking up false stories. Krishna gets confused as he can not understand what is happening so he goes to a home with Devi and there they got kidnapped and comes to know that Rudra is behind all this as he wanted to marry both of them for their money and he killed Alex and Rangga. Lalitha was trying to let Sarah and Isha tell I Love You, but suddenly Raj Khanna (Sonu Sood) arrives there and the movie goes to flashback, the first part of the movie. Where Raj is saying Krishna that if Devi cries he will shoot him. Both Sarah and Isha tells that they don’t love Krishna they love Alex and Rango so the ghosts leave Krishna’s body. Mistakenly Raj shoots Rudra.and eventually Krishna and Devi reconcile.

Review of Devi 2

Director AL. Vijay came with a good concept and storyline but he failed in his execution on screen. He failed with his story, screenplay, and direction. Instead of concentrating on the main theme, he deviated in the name of commercial elements which did not click and instead ended up testing the patience of the movie lovers.

Starcast Performance

Prabhu Deva attracted with his dances and to some extent with his performance. However, he could have done better to save the film. Tamannaah gave ample beauty treat to tempt movie lovers. Nandita Swetha surprised all with her special performance. Others like Dimple Hayati, Kovai Sarala, Saptagiri, Sonu Sood, Manish Nandan performed according to their roles.

Music Review

Sam C.S is the music composer of the movie there are only three songs in the movie Love me sung by Sheryl Ghoshal and Shankar Mahadevan, Chal maar sung by Benny Dayal and Sakura penne sung by Shanker Mahadevan.
